Get Involved
The club is reliant on its group of volunteer team managers, and helpers along with supportive parents and umpires who aim to capture each child’s enthusiasm and commitment thus achieving confidence in a secure and supportive environment.
The club needs and expects help from parents in all aspects of Colts Cricket. You should not be put off by lack of experience: many coaches start as supportive parents and soon progress to gain ECB qualifications.
Even if you are only able to volunteer in a small way during the season it would be greatly appreciated.
How do I start volunteering for ACC?
The easiest way is to go to our contact page on the website and let us know that you're interested in helping out. By volunteering a few hours a week or month for the club you make a huge difference, as well as developing new skills and having fun.
Tell us what your interests are, and we will give you all the tools and support you need to get your role up and running!

Coaching & assisting
If you are a qualified or would like to gain a teaching qualification and help our existing coaching staff, please contact the Head Coach or Colts Manager. Even without qualification, the coaches will always be glad of some regular assistance during sessions.
Team Manager
If you would like to organise or be responsible for running one of the Teams in our Colts section, please contact the Head Coach or Colts Manager.
Umpiring/Scoring
If you would like to become a qualified official and help out at fixtures, please contact the Fixtures Secretary.
Online Newsletter Editor (New)
If you would like to gain skills in sports communication and become our Online Newsletter Editor, please contact the Club Chairman.
Lunches/Teas
If you would like to help out at fixtures please contact Paul Weston.

The Club's management team always needs new blood to refresh and replace outgoing officers. There are many official and operational roles to fill so please offer your help by contacting us
