We hold indoor nets prior to the beginning of the season split into two groups - broadly those up to & including the U13 age group in one group and the U14 & above joining the senior players at the Club
In order to join the Club there are two forms that need to be completed, the Colts Family membership and the Colts membership forms, both of which can be found on the Membership & Subscriptions page to the left.
We run our coaching sessions for those below the U17 group on a Monday evening from about 18:15 until 20:00 from the beginning of May until the end of August, with the U17s joining the seniors on a thursday evening at the same times.
Weather permitting, we will have a BBQ on a decent Monday evening.
We play in the Bucks leagues from the U10 to U17 during the summer term and after that we play at some age groups in the Middlesex Summer Leagues, which gives the Colts an opportunity to play an extended competitive season. Matches during the summer term will usually start at around 18:00 and will be home or away on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings, with some games being played on Sunday mornings
Many of our older Colts will start to play in senior matches from about the age of 13 onwards as soon as they are assessed to be experienced enough to do so and will play in the Saturday 3rd X1 (League) or Sunday 2nd X1 (Friendly).
The format of the Monday evenings for the Colts is that we rotate the groups with the different coaches, concentrating on the different skills and will then finish each week with a friendly game between the groups.
In 2007 there were slightly in excess of 160 Colts at the Club and we had 82 competitive matches
