Amersham CC Saturday 3rd X1 v OMT 3 on Sat 31 May 2008 at 13:30
Amersham CC Won 103
Back to winning ways thanks to a fine performance from a blend of youth and experience! The experience was provided by Neil Palmer who held the innings together with a steady and then explosive 90 as the thirds reached 228 all out on a slow Barn meadow wicket. Stuart Rogers hasn't yet stopped reminding his father that he scored the most runs in the family but his 33 helped his team reach the competitive total.
In reply OMT's started well with their opener taking advantage of the Amersham bowlers all bowling into his arc over mid wicket. Eventually he got tired and then Mike Garvey cleaned up the tail and the opposition were bowled out for 125.
Another 25 points puts us in third place.
