A full-strength Amersham II boosted their promotion hopes as they stormed to their third straight win against Farnham Royal II at Shardeloes. After inserting the opposition, fine opening spells from Sam Davis (4-41) and Alex Hands (1-28) restricted Farnham Royal to 51-4. A brave fifth wicket partnership was finally broken at 69 by Adam Gibson, who went on to claim 5-36 culminating in a spectacular caught and bowled to dismiss the visitors for 167.

In reply, Amersham made short work of the target, with in-form Gibson (57) and Will Walsh (64*) sharing a second wicket stand of 120. Nick Robinson (26 not out) applied the finishing touches and the target was emphatically reached with nearly 8 overs to spare.
