Amersham U14s produced a solid batting and bowling display to cruise to victory over GX. Max Summerfield played a well paced innings including some nice wristy offside cuts. Star of the batting was Joe Breckenridge who reached his first 50 with good concentration and shot selection. Some good running at the end enabled Amersham to post a good score of 127.
GX started well and matched the Amersham scoring rate until Ben Huxham and Joe broke the opening partnership at 48. GX fell apart and were eventually bowled out for 107. There was some excellent outfielding from Amersham, typified by Michael Viney's 2 run outs.
