An under strength U13s team lost to Beaconsfield in the 17th over.
Amersham had a bad start with both openers out for ducks.Some goodish middle order contributions helped the innings to limp along to a below par score.
The Amersham fielding response was excellent. The bowling was tight and difficult to get away. The fielding was athletic and there was a lot of good vocal support in the field. Tom Turnbull captained the side well. It was an excellent effort to make Beaconsfield bat for 17 overs to reach the required score. Shame about the total we set and the lack of availability as we are capable of beating anybody. We are now out off the cup which could have led onto a national competition. Next chance will be U15.
