Usually uses the bat to hit the red thing over the rope, but has been known to use other body parts to achieve the same goal. Excellent gloveman, if I do say so myself. I've been a member at Amersham CC for the past 5 years and have played in the 1st and 2nd XIs as a batsman and occasional wicket-keeper. Before joining ACC I played for Dulwich CC for 2 years in the Surrey Championship. Now married to ACC's number 1 supporter - Annelize - and can often be seen with the two quiet, calm Jack Russells (Tau and Geri)....

I used to just open the batting and did not bowl. I now play the game at the end of each innings, burgling the last few wickets and smashing the winning runs.
