Match report An excllent game of cricket! A great way to win our division - we finished level on points with Chesham but as we beat them we win!
Tring posted 149 for 5, the outfield was lightning quick so this was an achievable total to chase down. Good bowling by Ashley, Michael and Felix helped to keep the score down.
Amersham made a very solid start on a deteriorating wicket, Alistair and Ashley compiling a watchful start of 55 off 9 overs. Amersham accelerated with Ashley (58) and Robert taking the total to 117. A flurry of wickets then had Amersham needing 2 off the last ball to win. In strode Rory to smash the ball to the boundary! Result never in doubt!
