Match report At last the 3rd XI fielded a competitive side in a match that was abandoned when nicely balanced. Amersham's very youthful attack bowled brilliantly and, aided by some great catches, held a strong Wycombe batting line up to 202 for 9 from 52. Cooke and Dale with 4 wickets each were the pick of the bowlers but Alex Rogers (at 20 being the oldest of the bowlers), Ed Lloyd and Joe Baldwin provided very economical support.

Mustak Musa showed his skill in leading the Amersham response against a tidy attack with a well crafted 39no before rain caused abandonment at 80 for 3. Hopefully Amersham will take confidence from this performance and will mount a good run in for the remaining matches.
