Match report After a heavy hail storm the match was rescheduled to start at 1:30 and was reduced to a 90 over game. We won the toss unusual from the skipper and decided to field first. BA got off to a flying start and it looked as though we would be chasing close to 300, but Musti steadied the ship and was ably supported by mike viney and A Rog in her second spell. Still a target of 245 in 43 overs was a stiff one. The innings started well with Naresh and young rogers scoring briskly a couple of wickets fell before the wise old heads Mr Weston and the skipper ran like the wind between the wickets during a 100 run partnership which left us well placed and Ed Kitchener and Ian Rogers saw us home for the win.
Special mention for Ed who was selected late but contributed well with the bat and showed much promise behind the stumps.
one third of the season now gone and we are well placed in the league in 2nd let's hope we can push on to promotion over the rest of the summer.
