Vice President
From the 1976 annual report:
“Mention must be made of the departure from the district of G.Atkins. Probably the best cricketer to have played for us consistently since the war. He played for Minor Counties, Cambridge University, Combined Services, the Army and numerous representative sides as well as making over 100 appearances for Bucks. For Amersham he scored an enormous amount of runs and took innumerable wickets with his skilful leg spin bowling as well as contributing substantially to the Club as Captain and as a committee member. We all wish him well.”
