Match report Plan A. Win the toss, bat, score 200, bowl them out. Easy.
Oops.....4 for 2! Not the best start so on to plan B. A mini rescue by the skipper (25) and David Mackintosh (55) took the side to 52 before the third wicket fell and then backed by Renny Adams (24) and a belligerent Alex Matthews (31)David kept the innings together before we were bowled out for 191. Strike one for the oldies.

In reply, Ruislip were cruising at 80 for 2 when 15 year old Felix Allum was let loose with his leg breaks. He bowled superbly picking up 5 wickets for a miserly 43 off 16 overs and supported by David Sidebottom (3-58)so nearly won us the match and after frustratingly dropping their number 11 twice, Ruislip held out for a draw 7 runs short at 184 for 9. Good game.
