Match report Amersham U15s demolished Wooburn in possibly the longest and ultimately darkest games I can remember. Having lost the pavillion keys the game started at 7.00 for a 6.00pm start.
However there were some very positive performances form the boys.
Alistair (67) and Ross (50) not out gave us an excellent 130 run opening partnership for the first 16 overs.
After this the new batsman kept the strike rate up to post 168 as the final total.
Wooburn battled on for the next interminable 20 overs and finished on 113.
Some excellent catches and run outs were the high spots of the fielding performance. Stuart Silk doing particularly well.
A really good all round performance from everybody. Well done.
