Match report On the longest day of the year a run fest.
Chesham rode their luck and attacked from the outset to reach 90 off 10 overs without loss. Amersham then bowled and fielded very well to restrict the next 10 overs and keep Chesham down to 137. Ed Lloyd, Ashley Turney and Will Johnstone put on the brakes and we picked up 4 wickets. Some excellent ground fielding from the boys was key to helping the bowlers.
Alistair (55 not out) and Rob (29) set the pace just right in the run chase before Will Johnstone (47 not out) helped Alistair to steer the team home in the 18th over. An excellent batting performance on a lovely June evening.
