Match report A great bowling effort backed up by a much improved fielding effort by the Amersham U12s kept Chesham B to what we thought was a very chase-able target. Special mention Ewan Philpot and Finley Davis for their spells towards the end of Chesham B's innings. Callum Burchett also kept wicket extremely well!

However, Amersham's batting left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately we got off to a poor start and things got progressively worse! In light of some quality bowling by the Chesham B side we struggled to play some good cricket. Our major weakness was being able to play the straight ball as 5 of our batsmen were bowled. Also our running between the wickets was a bit unpredictable! I think Monday nights training session will be very batting focussed!

Although we lost, I would like to stress that we have really improved since the first game at Great Kingshill, and we can only keep on improving from here. Good luck to all the boys selected for Fridays game, and enjoy!
