Match report Chesham won the toss and elected to bat, as we only had 9 players. By the time of the start, we had 11 and a young attack bowled well until a late onslaught set up a declaration and a target of 269 from 50 overs.

With a youthful line up, we started well, reaching 50 in the 9th over, but two wickets in the next over slammed the brakes on, as Chesham's leg spinner found prodigious turn. Freddie ensured an awkward journey home by running out his dad, but held on for 53 having been at the crease for 33 overs. From there it became a backs to the wall effort, and it was with great relief that Jonnie Baron and Henry Fernyhough marshalled matters through, and we finished 137-9
