Match report Another frustrating batting performance from Amersham saw Beaconsfield run our comfortable winners.

Batting first, all the Amersham batsmen got a start, but good fielding and tight bowling kept pressure on and Amersham folded. After a good start Fleming was bowled by Collins, bringing Cann in to join Viney. These two took the score to 49 before Viney nicked one from Mahood, and Cann followed similarly to Collins shortly after. Jackson and Colquhoun both eased to 19 before playing careless shots to leg side fielders, and Amersham were in trouble at 108 for 6. Despite the efforts of Stephenson (27), Beaconsfield did not let up and Amersham capitulated for 143.

Playing like they expect to win, Beaconsfield started aggressively, with both Cann and Ward suffering at the hands of Mahmood and Bentall. Both were dismissed, but this only brought Sherry and Harris to the crease, who both continued their productive seasons to surpass Amersham's total without further loss in just 22.1 overs.
