Match report Amersham claimed a nail-biting victory at NPL Lensbury, to maintain their outside chances of a promotion place. Lensbury opted to bat first on a hard track, but fine spells from Adam Gibson (4-50) and Charlie Holloway (4-18) restricted the hosts to 147. Curiously, only the first (32) and last (33) wicket partnerships produced any significant runs.

In reply, Adam Gibson, scoring his third consecutive fifty, held the innings together. He was eventually dismissed for a fantastic 80, leaving Jon Lishman to see Amersham home in the gathering dark with just two wickets remaining.
