Match report On Sunday, Amersham and Warborough & Shillingford fought out an exciting draw at Shardeloes.
Winning the toss and electing to bat, Amersham struggled early on against tight seam and swing bowling from Richard Tilley (4-22) and were soon reduced to 49 for five. Rob Viney (40) in partnership with first Elliot Kettingham (22) and then Jamie Toates (26) lifted the score to a competitive 166 before veteran Alan Tilley (3-7) wrapped up the tail.

James Hobbs (53) gave Warborough a solid start, but as the required rate began to rise, so wickets began to fall, mostly to the off-spin of Andy Robertson (4-48). Richard Tilley (50*) farmed the strike well whilst batting with the lower order, and all four results were still possible with one delivery remaining. Warborough required three for victory, but Kettingham brought off a good stop at short extra-cover to deny the batsmen any runs.
