Chesham CC v AMERSHAM CC U9A Strikers on Sun 13 May 2018 at 10am
AMERSHAM CC Lost By 17 runs

Match report Second match of the season and much more ready this time. We had a fun game overall. Chesham had a side mainly of U10s who are used to the hard ball. We asked to play with an Incredible. The astro was too wet to play on so we moved to a grass wicket. Amersham won the toss and choose to field first. Oscar, Yashas and Aarav dominated the bowling for Amersham. Aarav had the only Amersham maiden over of the match. There were some communication issues with the Chesham batmen which ended up with them both at one end resulting in three exciting run outs whilst Amersham found the end missing a batsman. Joshua from Amersham made further fun of Chesham by some very hairy calls to run, I think Chesham were trying to juggle the ball. Despite the best efforts of Amersham we failed to make the chase. The players had a really good time and that is the most important thing. Thanks to Luke Jackson for umpiring for Amersham, Sunil for coming to start things off and for Marius for keeping the scorebook on the straight and narrow.
