AMERSHAM CC Lost by 4 wickets
Match report
Amersham lost to a very strong Dr Challoners side by 4 wickets on Sunday. Amersham batted first and were soon in trouble against good bowling from Hughes and Graham. Amersham were 36-3 when Danny Bulman and Duncan Ward added 66 for the 4th wicket.
Both then fell in quick succession and then Dr Challoners mopped up the last 5 wickets for just 13 runs.
Dr Challoners got off to a shaky start with Ward taking a wicket in the second over and then Bulman reduced Dr Challoners to 20-2. Cranfield-Thompson and Hughes then steered Dr Challoners to within 30 runs before James Harmer and Hanook Gill struck. Dr Challoners lost 2 more wickets before passing Amersham's total to wrap up an easy win.
