Match report Amersham had a perfect day, playing on the beautiful front grass wicket, on the most glorious afternoon, a fine win with all the boys contributing. Vishal Thaker's opening spell of 3 overs 2 for 12 showed good control which was then assisted by Tom Lee's 4 for 7 from 3 overs which broke the remainder of Chalfont's resolve. Sam Baldwin caught 2 behind the stumps and Tom Player caught 3 in front of the stumps. Philip Lloyd opened the batting and showed remarkable maturity for a 10 year old and retired for 16 from just 16 balls - off to demolish the opposition for our Under 10's we understand. Sam Baldwin joined Elliot Ayling who made 17 before being caught and he saw us home with a typically agressive 23no to record a win by 9 wickets.
