Match report This match had everything.............a first hangover, a missed flight, a late arrival and a first fifty! And unfortunately a loss.

Thanks to an interrupted journey to Toulouse airport the skipper and his youngest missed the planned flight and arrived one hour late for the match by which time Ruislip were under way heading for 244 for 6 declared. David Mackay bowling well again taking another three wickets.

Thanks to James Wood (47) and Renny Adams (52) we were in touch but they had little support from the middle order. Jack Rogers (55*) who had slept for most of the day nursing a sore head came in with 100 needed for victory and began to give us hope as he went to his first senior fifty. Unfortunately he eventually ran out of partners as we fell short by just 19 runs.
