Match report A losing start but not a disgrace for our first match of the season. Jack and Tom lead a fiery attack, Will bowled well as the change bowler and but for a dropped catch and a plum LBW not appealed for (twit) Beaconsfield's only significant run scorer would not have reached 66. Joe cleaned up with 6 wickets the last four coming off consecutive balls culminating in the first ever stumping for rookie keeper Rohan.

125 was always within our grasp though and Michael set the tone with a four off the first ball with his version of the 'Dilshan'. Ben newly arrived from oz did extremely well to keep his eyes open let alone concentration going and with him and Will at the crease victory looked possible......until they both fell in quick succession. Only Jack thereafter made any useful contribution and we fell short by just 26 runs.
