Match report Amersham played extremely well to convincingly win against an unbeaten Chesham side. What a change a year makes - last year the same Chesham side beat us resoundingly. The boys are improving in doing the right things most of the time.
We batted very sensibly on a helpful wicket to post 122. Ashley(51) and Alistair (14) gave us a solid start. All the following batsmen played well - Michael scoring 19 not out to steer us to a decent total.
Chesham started very well but we kept picking up wickets with some good bowling and catching. Felix took a great catch and Ashley produced a great run out. Ashley, Felix and Michael all took 2 wickets each and Chesham finished on 104 for 9.
