Match report A great win in only our second league game of the season!Dominant batting after losing the toss allowed the skipper to declare on 250 after only 40 overs. Veteran Ward and young Tilbury smashed the ball to all parts followed by the more senior Rogers who looked back in prime form circa 1978!
Very tight opening spells from the evergreen Rajaballi and Ward kept Cookham on the back foot and behind the run rate before the much younger combination of Allum and Turney broke the back of the Cookham batting. Rajaballi and Ward then returned to finish them off.
The first of many wins this year I hope a good all round performance well done to all!!
