Match report Amersham U17s played their full part in a very good game of cricket.
Tom Player (26) and Alistair Grant (80) batted well to set a good platform for the innings. After Tom was out at 83 off the 14th over the Amersham innings became a bit of a scramble but we eventually posted 138.
Chesham then batted well against tight opening spells from Ashley and Ollie and but for a few dropped catches Amersham would have made life very difficult.
However Chesham dug in and won the game in the last over.
Great game of cricket for our last game. Amersham showed why they are such a good side as they never gave up and kept the pressure on right until the end.
