Match report A beautiful afternoon at Shardeloes began with the opposition winning the toss and electing to bat first.

Our fielding was superb through the Marlow innings. Every catch was taken including wonderful one handed diving efforts from Tilbury and Fleming. The later winning the champagne moment for his grab. The middle order for Marlow batted well and at one stage it seemed as though they would post a score in excess of 200. However Ahmed (4-16) and Atkinson (2-45) took crucial wickets to restrict Marlow to 160 all out.

Our innings began positively with an opening stand of 50 between Nguyen (31) and Shuttle (29). We lost a couple of quick wickets but Fleming (50 n.o) steadied the ship to see us comfortably reach our target and record our first league win of the season.

Next week will see us travel to Chartridge to play Chesham 3rd XI. Very important to record another win to build on the good performance this week.
