Match report A superb late rally by their bowlers saw Amersham beat Cove on the final day of the season on Saturday.

After so much rain during the week the wicket was always going to be tricky, and while Amersham battled hard to reach 165-9 from 50 overs, it was felt that it probably was not enough, and the fears proved to be well founded when Cove's reply started briskly.

They were totally in charge before the first wicket fell at 95, and the fourth at 141, but when the remaining six fell for only three runs, with Stuart Rogers taking 5-38, Amersham were victorious.
