Match report A frustrating day at Radlett saw the Sunday XI lose their third league match of the season, leaving the league table hanging in the balance.

Going into the match, Amersham CC were top of the Sunday league by a point. After being told to field first, Sham started the bowling nicely and was unlucky with two catches going down in his first 3 overs. The partnerships grew at a slow rate for Radlett but they also seemed dangerous without losing many wickets. A flourish at the end from their number 4 (Stuey mentioned he 'hit a cleannnnn ball') saw the opposition post a total of 214.

In response, unlike Radlett, we lost early wickets. Jack and Nugget were both dismissed before the start of the 3rd over and Maduka was caught on the leg side for a quick 39. We could not build the partnerships required to approach the total and fell short at 166 all out. Stuart Rogers provided the fireworks at the end but to no avail.

We play Finchley at home next week and can still win the league if certain matches go in our favour.
