Match report Amersham suffered their third defeat of the season away to Finchampstead III, after being inserted on a typically flat pitch. Adam Gibson continued his rich run of form with 66, Will Walsh chipped in with 49, and Chris Owen blasted 61 not out, as Amersham made 224-5 declaring at the halfway 50 over mark.

Things were going to plan for Amersham as hostile opening spells from Sam Davis and Jon Lishman reduced the hosts to 44-3, but Phillips and Taberer counter-attacked with a 4th wicket partnership of 127 for the hosts, and they comfortably reached the target with 5 wickets and 7 overs to spare. Having lost to the bottom club Amersham face the top club, Maidenhead II, next week.
