Having won the toss things looked good as OMTs took to the field, however a loose first over from Katz set the tone for the rest of the Amersham innings. Too many loose balls allowed the opposition to post a total of 200 off 46 in a reduced overs game. Fienberg and Katz took 3 a piece both owing much to Lamb who picked up a 5-fer of catches.

In reply Winkle and Parekh were unlucky to be caught at short leg and off back of bat/head respectively. Others tried one shot too many including the pick of the batsman Fienberg (56) who decided to try and cut a full straight one, having played the ball to all parts of the field. With Fienbergs dismissal the game was already out of grasp despite some lusty blows from Grainger at the tail.
