Match report Amersham got off to a poor start in the league with a heavy defeat at High Wycombe. High Wycombe won the toss and elected to bat first. Amersham managed to get an early breakthrough with Ward taking a simple caught and bowled chance. High Wycombe batted well on a good wicket and maintained a good scoring rate despite Mustapha Rajabali taking wickets at steady intervals. Amersham's cause wasn't helped by dropping four catches.
Amershams reply got off to a poor start losing Stephenson in the first over and unfortunately never recovered with only Charlie Bennetto being able to score runs. Charlie Holloway struck some lusty blows at the end to make the score a little bit more respectable.

Amersham will need to improve their performance when they travel to Marlow on saturday.
