Match report Amersham lost to Cove by 8 wickets. Cove won the toss and elected to field first on a wicket that was under water on wednesday. The Cove opening bowlers exploited the conditions well and Amersham struggled to cope. Cove quickly got amongst the wickets and apart from Rich Stephenson none of the batsmen put up much resistance.
Cove strolled past the required total with only the loss of two wickets both to Alex Hands who was the pick of the Amersham bowling. A much better performance is required against High Wycombe if Amersham are to avoid a relegation battle.
