Match report Amersham slumped to a heavy defeat by High Wycombe that put them in the relegation battle. Amersham won the toss and elected to bowl first on a wet wicket. High Wycombe got off to a good start with Rob Jones batting very well in difficult conditions and making a very good 50. Amersham gained some control with the introduction of Rajabali and Moore and the runs started to dry up with Rajabali taking another 5 wicket haul. High Wycombe batted well and posted a good total with Stone and Wright adding valuable runs at the end.
High Wycombe were soon amongst the wickets as the conditions got worse. With accuracy key High Wycombe made bowling look very easy and Amersham struggled in the conditions. Amersham need to improve to stay in this league.
