Match report This was always going to be a tough match and so it proved............but oh so close! A couple of difficult chances went down that if held would probably have turned the game in our favour.

We posted a good score of 146/4 made possible by a 79 run stand for the 3rd wicket between Chris C-B (39) and Alex Rogers (53*) making her first half century of the season with some delightful cover drives. Will Gray set about the bowling with his usual ferocity including a six over long on off the opening bowler and his quick fire 25 not out enabled the U15 to finish on a competitive score.

The coach told them at the break that this would be close with a strong Wycombe side coming out to bat but if they kept their nerve they could win. They did everything they could in the field with some magnificent ground fielding, some tight bowling, good field placing and looking at last like a well organised side. But despite their efforts Wycombe scraped home with an over to spare. A great shame but the coach could not have asked for more. Well done everyone.
