Match report Lost the toss and put into bat.

Amersham batted well posting 269 off 47 before the declaration. Steady batting throughout the innings with both Haddock (47) and Tilbury (90) continuing their form putting on 120 for the 3rd wicket.

Buchanan and Haines started well with the new ball keeping GX below the required run rate whilst picking up a couple of wickets on the way. However, it was the introduction of Chapman that saw the match swing heavily in Amersham's direction taking 4 quick wickets (all bowled) and reducing GX to 80-8 off 22 overs. However.....it took all of the remaining overs(that's c. 30 overs, or 180 balls, or near on two hours) before Amersham could capture the final 2 wickets with Atkinson claiming the final one caught (or was it LBW?) in the gully by Haddock.

Another strong performance by the team with encouraging signs shown with all aspects of the game.

Champagne moment: Tilbury's 90 and Oli Penton's incredibly sharp stumping - which the chap at first slip didn't even see happen.
