Match report Lost toss and put into bat. A shakey start saw Amersham 31-2 off 9 overs on a track that was doing a bit for the bowlers with the new ball. Owen and H. Jackson settled things down with a fine 125 run partnership however wickets continued to tumble at regular intervals following Jackson departure. L. Jackson hit a brisk 49 off 20 balls including 6 sixes during the closing overs and helped the team through to 285.

Amersham began the fielding innings well with Buchanan and Chapman proving hard to get away and saw Chenies struggling at 4-49 off 16 overs. Then the game turned.....A. Chapman settled the Chenies innings down whilst H Dahyra went berserk. This partnership put on 230 in 27 overs and took the game away from Amersham who struggled for answers. Dahrya was dropped four times along the way and these catches proved costly in end - however it was a terrific display of clean hitting!

A disappointing end but a great game.
