Match report This was the return match vs Berkhamsted U-12/U-13 which resulted in another exciting last over result in favour of Amersham this time.

Berkhamsted batted first and moved steadily towards their total of 124 with the last man being out off the last ball. As with last week, Amersham's ground fielding was excellent although several catches were spilled. However Ashley Turney took three catches in the gully, two of which were outstanding.

In Amersham's reply wickets fell regularly but fortunately Ashley anchored the innings with a well-crafted 51 (retd). Felix Allum and Stuart Silk both made good contributions before Harry Roxburgh and Tom Lee contributed 15 runs in a last wicket partnership to win the game off the second last ball.

All the boys from both sides both batted and bowled and it was agreed that we should aim to do something similar again next year.
