Match report What a difference a week makes! The heroes of last week failed miserably and it was the youngsters who gave us some credibility in this one sided encounter.

Chalfont batted first and were quickly into their stride thanks to a few gifts from our openers and were ticking along nicely at a mere 10 an over. 400+ looked on the cards but thanks to a mammoth spell from Sidey ably supported by Alex, Jack and Will, Chalfont were restricted to a meagre 307 for eight!

So it was always going to be a tricky task but last weeks elder statesmen were up for the challenge only to fall at the first hurdle for a paultry 16 runs between them. Pathetic! Enter Will Gray who hitting the ball very sweetly scored an impressive 83 supported by 21 from Alex and 20 from the not-so-young Renny Adams to give us some respectability at 169 all out.
