Match report Beaten by one man! The fact that we should have scored more runs against modest bowling, a silly run out, one lucky deflected catch and a couple of silly shots didn't help much either.

We got off to a flyer at 9 an over until Alex T topped edged. Then it all went horribly wrong with Callum run out and Alex R being caught on a rebound. The 'tail' wagged quite well with Ali impressing with some delightful shots.

But in the field we were a different team bowling well fielding well with the skipper Alex T setting his field extremely well. Without their star scoring 62 out of 78 the result might have been very different. We so nearly had him too caught behind off Jack early on but it would have been the catch of the season and Ali did so well even to get a hand near it!

Oh for a few more runs! A lesson learnt I hope.
