Match report First home game for the team saw the skipper win the toss and put the oppo in. Ed Clifford continued his fine opening spells picking up two early with snicks behind and sharp catches by the experienced Sundarim and the young keeper Naik (inside edge caught down low). Bowling remained tight throughout the innings and regular wickets saw their captain (Saqib Ahmed) struggle to form any real momentum. Aiden McPhillips bowled an impressive 4 overs picking up 5 for 12 with his well paced leg spin, with his final wicket picking up their skipper with a great stumping from Naik. Chalfont St Peters all out for 122 - leaving the home team feeling satisfied at the turn. However, the satisfaction turned abruptly as Amersham's openers were both taken out with first ballers. Raja and Fleming looked to steady the ship, like the previous week, however when Raja chopped on with the score on 13 the oppo were ecstatic with cries of an early finish. But not to be.....the old crew of Fleming and Briant saw off the noise in the field, by putting on a 100 run partnership; making for a comfortable victory in the end.
