Match report In another excellent & well disciplined performance, Amersham overcame Wendover in their second league fixture of the season. Whilst your author was not there for the entirety of the game and my thanks to David Cooke for taking up the pen after the first two pairs, Amersham outscored Wendover by 4 runs.
It was however the bowling that was the difference between the teams, where Amersham took 11 wickets against Wendovers 3, making Amersham winners by 52 runs.
The wickets taken were shared around, but pick of the bowlers were Marcus Stewart, who took 4 and William Fennell who took 2.
George Cooke & Ben Hughes were the leading run getters, but again the whole team contributed to this emphatic win and we look forward to our next game as league toppers - let's keep up the momentum.
