Match report The Skipper hadn't arrived by the time the oppo wanted to flip the coin, so Harry stood in and ineptly lost - one job to do! Amersham were asked to field. The crowd were not impressed and so Harry was asked to captain for the remainder of the day in an effort to rectify his previous poor judgement. Other than the opening pair, the Serbians struggled to get the tight bowling line up away. In the spirit of true wokism, everyone bowled a similar number of overs - however Fleming off his short run up, bowled sharply and troubled the batsmen through the middle overs - although he saved everyone some blushed by bowling his hatrick ball purposely down the leg side. Serbia ended up with 179 off their allotted 40 overs. Again, in the spirit of treating everyone equally, names were drawn from the hat to determine the batting order. Arhan and the Harry himself (dubiously, some would say he rigged the hat drawing process) end up opening. Arhan's large pillows were caught in front early on, and that was it for wickets for the Serbs for the day. Harry and Webby saw the runs off - with the former ending up on 98* and Webby 60*. Harry naively ruined his 100 by trying to run a three when only one was needed to win - schoolboy, the last two runs didn't count, thereby seeing him fall short. Jug avoidance crime I'd say.

All 'n all a nice day, a bit one sided and no-one ended up buried in the bushes.
