Match report First home game for the team, and first game at LK for the season! ACC lost the toss and were put into bat on a damp track. A good toss to lose really, as the skipper didn’t have a clue what to do. However, following that initial indecisiveness, the opening Fleming father and son combo started positively putting on 70 before the younger party was unluckily caught in the gully. Runs kept flowing, despite losing Thomas early on, with McPhillips continuing to hit the ball cleanly. The partnership of the match however came from Patel and Chahal who put on over hundred at hat ultimately saw the score reach 250.

Bushy Park were never in the match following a strong opening spell from Chahal (2-17) and Dixon (3-17) who then claimed a ten wicket bag given his previous match at LK in 2022 saw him pick up 7 wickets! Atkinson and Thomas pick up a couple each and with some find catching from Sam Fleming (wk) and the old boys in the slips, Bushy were never really in the hunt.
